Can’t make it to the show?

You had your evening all planned out, but now you can’t make it. Read below for more information about your next steps and our official re-sale partner, Twickets.

Exchanging your tickets

Tickets can be exchanged for a different performance of the same production subject to availability. New tickets must be the same price as your original tickets.

Depending on popularity, it may not be possible have the same seats for the new performance, but our team can guide you to the best available seats at the price you originally paid. There is a £2 per ticket exchange fee.

Reselling through Twickets

If you’re no longer able to attend, and can’t exchange your tickets, you can list your tickets with our official re-sale partner Twickets. Our dedicated landing page will help you easily find performances and ensures that tickets are not sold for more than the price you paid.

You can sell tickets securely through Twickets, with payment and delivery all agreed upfront. If you’re sent an unauthorised payment, or a buyer claims they didn’t receive their item, you’ll be covered for the full amount of the payment, as long as you provide proof of shipment. Where PayPal is used, you’re covered by PayPal’s Seller Protection policy.

Accessibility tickets cannot be resold through our official resale partner Twickets therefore if you contact our Box Office on 01473 433100 or email tickets@ipswich.gov.uk we will add your details to our own accessibility re-sale list.

Just select the ticket type and face value from their extensive database of events. You can add up to 15% to cover the original booking fee, though please ensure you only charge what was actually paid. Where they are aware that the original booking fee was greater than 15%, this may be reflected in the pricing on the event.
Select delivery options you’d like to offer, from Post, Drop & Collect, Meet Up, or Download. You’ll only be offered those that ensure tickets reach the buyer in time. You must deliver tickets promptly
Twickets will pay out your funds from a sale via PayPal or a bank account transfer, depending on the event. In the event of a sale, sellers receiving funds from PayPal will receive a payout immediately after the sale. Sellers receiving funds via bank account transfer will receive money in their bank account within 5 to 8 business days after the event takes place. Once the sale is complete you’ll receive an email with payment confirmation. Standard PayPal charges apply.
Please note that tickets listed on Twickets cannot be made available for sale on any other re-sale site. If tickets are no longer available and not removed from a listing, an admin charge may apply.

Buying through Twickets

If you were hoping to book tickets for a show and find that it’s sold out, you may be able to purchase unwanted tickets from fans no longer able to attend.

Our dedicated Twickets landing page automatically lists all upcoming shows at both our venues, so allows you to easily find the show you’re looking for, and check to see if any tickets are being resold. Booking unwanted tickets through Twickets also ensures you are paying no more than face value, protecting you from over-inflated and unethical prices.

Browse all of the latest tickets to gigs, festivals, sports, comedy, and more for sale on the Twickets website, on their free mobile apps, and the Twickets Twitter Feed.
If you’re looking for a specific ticket, then use Twickets’ search facility in the app or on their website. Narrow your search results by entering the category, region and/or date(s) you require.
If a ticket you’re looking for isn’t listed in their stream or on our dedicated landing page, then set up an alert. As soon as a ticket appears, Twickets will let you know by email and/or push notification to your mobile.
You can pay with all major debit/credit cards, and for most events Twickets also accepts PayPal. Once the ticket purchase is complete, you will receive an email with confirmation from Twickets as well as next steps in arranging delivery.
