We’re looking for someone with a a good level of technical knowledge – our venues can be challenging, but we have built up an industry reputation on making the impossible happen so you will need to demonstrate some technical ability across sound, lighting, rigging and staging.
Location: Ipswich – various entertainment venues
Salary: £30,518 – £32,061
Hours: 37 hours per week Annualised (permanent)
Closing date: 24th September 2025
We pride ourselves on delivering a great customer experience, whether front of house or backstage and we get to work with some of the UK’s biggest promoters and producers.
You will need to demonstrate a can-do attitude, work to tight deadlines and be strong communicator. The workload is varied throughout the year and some flexibility in working pattens is expected.
You’ll need a good level of technical knowledge – our venues can be challenging, but we have built up an industry reputation on making the impossible happen so you will need to demonstrate some technical ability across sound, lighting, rigging and staging. Everything starts with the technical rider and specification and cad drawings so you’ll need to decipher these and make them relevant to our venue.
Forward planning is key to this role and being able to think outside of the box. Managing time will help with this so if you are methodical and organised in your work life, this could be the next position for you.
The team includes technicians and casuals supported by agency crew so good leadership, verbal and written skills is paramount to bringing everyone together with a good level of IT knowledge.
Everything we do is underpinned by a strong Health & Safety ethos so you will need a comprehensive understanding of this to ensure we operate in a safe environment.

A-level standard or equivalent experience in a technical related profession.
Hours of work are 37 per week, including some weekend
The post holder will be required to work a rota, including evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays.
