From our cultural organisations and creative communities to local businesses, vibrant large-scale events, arts and theatre, community groups and Ipswich Town Football Club, the bid reflects a town that believes in the power of culture to shape its future. 

Being longlisted is a real vote of confidence in that ambition. We know the competition will be strong, but Ipswich has an extraordinary story to tell and a community ready to be part of it.” 

We now look ahead to the next stage which is building a strong, inclusive case and continuing to bring our communities, partners and audiences with us on the journey.
