All upcoming shows, including this year’s pantomime Aladdin, will go ahead as planned. Face coverings are now mandatory in our venues for all customers over the age of 11, unless medically exempt.

Dear customers,

We are delighted to confirm that all upcoming shows, including this year’s pantomime Aladdin, will go ahead as planned in-line with the new guidance issued in yesterday’s government announcement. However, until further notice there will be some new measures in place for all future performances.

Face coverings are now mandatory in our venues for all customers over the age of 11, unless medically exempt. These must be worn at all times, including when in the auditorium, except when eating or drinking. Our staff will continue to wear face coverings in all public areas.

Also included in yesterday’s government announcement was the introduction of the NHS COVID-19 pass. This does not apply to seated theatres so will not be required for the majority of events at the Regent Theatre and Corn Exchange. There will be some exceptions to this, including those events where an audience of more than 500 people are standing, and relevant ticket holders will be contacted separately about this if and when required. Please ensure your email address is up-to-date. How do I update my account details?

Since reopening in July, we have safely welcomed over 50,000 audience members to events across our two venues and we remain confident that the COVID safety measures we have already implemented will continue to make you feel safe, welcome and comfortable.  These include improvements to the ventilation, regular enhanced cleaning, hand sanitising stations and contactless payments.

We look forward to seeing you soon.
