A programme that once again features some of the great scores composed for film with a strong emphasis on musicals, including a selection from The Sound of Music in this year – the 60th anniversary of the film’s release.
Under-12s are invited to come dressed as their favourite film character and, if they wish, take part in a costume parade during the interval.

John Williams – Hymn to the Fallen from Saving Private Ryan,
Tribute to Ennio Morricone including Cinema Paradiso Love Theme 1, Deborah’s Theme from How the West Was Won, and a medley of themes for Westerns,
Richard Strauss – Also sprach Zarathustra (2001 and Barbie), and
Medleys from Les Miserables, Fiddler on the Roof, and The Sound of Music.
