Ipswich Symphony Orchestra returns to the stage at the Corn Exchange with a special treat for music lovers. Rising young star pianist Alim Baisembayev was the first prize winner at the recent Leeds International Piano Competition 2021. We are hugely fortunate that he will perform Beethoven’s 3rd Piano Concerto before he embarks on a tour of Europe and the Far East.

This concert also celebrates conductor Adam Gatehouse’s 20 years with ISO. He says “I am thrilled to be able to come together again with a full and re-energised Ipswich Symphony Orchestra for what promises to be a really exciting first concert after lockdown.”

Sibelius – Finlandia
Beethoven – Piano Concerto no.3
Sibelius – Symphony no.2
