Covid update: Sailing Barge Victor will be operating within current Coronavirus guidelines. Capacity has been reduced to ensure that social distancing can take place at all times. On arrival customers have their temperature taken and are asked to use the hand sanitiser provided. On board, face coverings aren’t required on top deck as passengers sit facing outwards however when using the lower deck face coverings must be worn. The bar and toilet are open for use however a member of the crew will be on hand, letting customers know when they can head below deck to purchase drinks or use the toilet to prevent people queuing. All food served is now individually boxed to prevent contamination and one person from each party is asked to collect their group’s food.

Through November to January why not take the opportunity to experience one of East Anglia's finest wildlife spectacles on board Sailing Barge Victor, where you can see thousands of birds on the magnificent Stour Estuary. Sailing Barge Victor provides the perfect platform for your half day excursion, with experts on-board to help you get the most out of the bird-watching. Fully inclusive of complimentary tea, coffee and food.

Please note:

Please arrive no earlier than 15 mins before departure time as sailing times are constrained by tides and cannot be delayed under any circumstances.

The bar is cash only.

In the event of insufficient numbers, adverse weather or mechanical failure, Sailing Barge Victor reserves the right to offer a full refund or places on an alternative cruise date. For more information, and sailing terms & conditions, please visit www.sbvictor.co.uk.

Disabled access: As SBVictor is a historic working barge, we do advise passengers that there are uneven surfaces, narrow walkways and steep steps down to the lower deck facilities which passengers attending must be aware of. In order to board the barge, passengers must also be able to use a gangway therefore, unfortunately there is no access for wheelchair users.
