We’re bringing a taste of the West End to Ipswich in 2024 starting with Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice’s Jesus Christ Superstar. This mesmerising new production of the iconic global phenomenon was originally staged by London’s Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre, and won the 2017 Olivier Award for Best Musical Revival, garnering unprecedented reviews and accolades.

The world’s best-loved musical Grease is back! Grittier and more glamorous than ever before. Round-up your Burger Palace Boys, pick up your Pink Ladies and re-discover why Grease really is the one that you want in 2024.

The legendary production of Susan Hill’s chilling ghost story The Woman in Black comes to the Regent Theatre direct from London’s West End, after an incredible 33 year run at the Fortune Theatre.

Winner of Best New Musical across the globe, Come From Away shares the incredible real-life story of the 7,000 air passengers from all over the world who were grounded in Canada during the wake of 9/11, and the small Newfoundland community that invited these ‘come from aways’ into their lives.

Prepare to be swept off your feet with An Officer and a Gentleman The Musical, based on the award-winning 80s movie. This timeless story of love, courage, and redemption will make your heart soar and leave you breathless, longing for more.


They say laughter is the best medicine, and we’ve got more than just a small dose of side-splitting stand-up to keep Suffolk entertained into the new year and beyond.

2024 kicks off two sell-out shows from Romesh Ranganathan with Janey Godley, Sophie McCartney and Tom Allen also bringing some stellar comedy to Ipswich in February.

In March, everyone’s favourite compliments aficionado Troy Hawke brings his new show to the Corn Exchange. Geoff Norcott, Ed Gamble, Al Murray and Daniel O’Reilly bring further laughs to Ipswich in March.

Further ahead, BAFTA Award-winning comedian Leigh Francis (Keith Lemon) is welcomed to the Regent Theatre stage, with April also seeing Count Arthur Strong, Iain Stirling, Julian Clary back in town.

There are plenty more laughs further ahead with Jimmy Carr, Paul Smith, Steve Bugeja and Rhod Gilbert all heading to Ipswich in the not-too-distant-future.





The internationally acclaimed Varna National Ballet brings three poignant and exquisite performances to Ipswich in February – The Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty and Swan Lake. Keep dancing with Strictly favourites Giovanni Pernice, Johannes Radebe, Nadiya & Kai and Anton Du Beke.

After celebrating the 25th anniversary of “Lord of the Dance” in 2022, Michael Flatley is back with a dazzling revival of his iconic dance extravaganza. The 2024 tour promises to be an extraordinary journey that will captivate audiences again with this record-breaking show.

From Aled Jones to The Bootleg Beatles, Fisherman’s Friends to boyband Blue there really is something for everyone. Joining the line-up is Tony Hadley, Walk Like a Man, David Essex, Whitney – Queen of the Night, Elvis Costello, The Dualers, Alexander O’Neal, Big Country and many other already sold-out shows.
